Jaz Beach

. It is located 2.5 km west of Budva city. It consists of two parts, one 500 m long and the other, formerly a nudist beach, 300 m long. It is a pebble beach, with a campground along the greater part of the beach (capacity 2,000 lots).

While it is a popular beach for sunbathing and camping (it has a campground along the the beach, with capacity of 2,000 lots), and is one of the longer beaches in Montenegro, it has gained international prominence as a host of noumerous concerts and happenings in recent years.

The vast hinterland of the Jaz beach are considered among the greatest potentials for tourism developement on Montenegrin coast, as there are few undeveloped areas left on the coast besides Jaz (notably Buljarica, Velika Plaža and Ada Bojana.)

The concert era began with the show of the The Rolling Stones on July 9th, 2007, as a part of their . For their performance, a large field in the beach hinterland was leveled, fenced, and made easily accessible, by refurbishing and extending the road to the venue. The show was very successful, and paved the way for similar events in the future.

The next notable event on the venue was the "Live Fest" held in August, 2008, which consisted of three night event program: with Lenny Kravitz and Armand Van Helden on August 5th, Dino Merlin and "DJ Set Retro Groove ’70" on August 6th and Goran Bregović together with Zdravko Čolić on August 7th.

Madonna performed one of her Sticky & Sweet Tour concerts at the venue on September 25. The pre and after parties consisted of performances by various other popular musicians, such as Van Gogh, Garik Sukachev, David Morales, Junior Jack and DJ Ura.

These events are regarded as a significant boost to Montenegrin international image, and a promotion of Montenegro as a tourist destination. It has been speculated that Svetozar Marović, influential Montenegrin politician, and a native of Budva, is to be credited personally for bringing the internationally famous stars to this venue.
