William Lee Barefield III a.k.a. "Trip Lee" is a Christian hip-hop artist who has recorded both independently and as a founding member of the 116 Clique. Originally from Dallas, Texas [http://www.hhhdb.com/index.php?id=792 The Holy Hip Hop Database - Trip Lee] ] , he now resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Trip Lee is signed to Reach Records. He first gained notoriety after appearing on the Reach Records website at the age of 16, having penned a few devotionals on theological matters that well exceeded the general knowledge of a young man his age. His debut album "If They Only Knew" was released in 2006. Trip Lee was born and raised in Dallas, Texas.
