Tribiq (pronounced Try-Bik) is a UK-based consultancy specialising in custom web site design and development. They were originally called Tribal Limited.
Tribal Limited was founded in 1996. The name "Tribal" was chosen as it seemed appropriate, since the internet was emerging as a medium for bringing people together. At a time when others were treating the web as a new kind of TV station, Tribal were original pioneers of online communities with thousands of users.
In Tribal's early years, early "virtual communities" were developed for customers like Novell and HP. Tribal have received awards for Thames Water, Goodman Jones and other websites.Tribiq is an open source company using Apache, Linux, Perl, PHP, MySQL. The flagship product is TribiqCMS 5.

TribiqCMS 5 coding began in 2006, as an overhaul to take advantage of
