Sven van Veen

Sven van Veen (born 25 February 1961) is a pop singer.

He received worldwide reputation with the song "Holiday Rap" (with MC Miker G). The song became the summer hit of 1986 in 34 countries. It gained the number 1 position in the Netherlands.

With Miker G, DJ Sven scored later also still hits with among others Celebration quickly and bowl from that roof, with godfather Koelewijn. Also Sven confessed for the talked-about shock radio programme Sven & stand; Dave (with Dave Heijnerman), which end years 1990 at BNN on radio 3 was hear.

After this programme was stopped, Sven started a eetcafé in Hilversum with Dave. Since January 2005 DJ has made Sven the radio programme disco Inferno on the Saturday night at radio Veronica. Moreover he is one of the permanent sidekicks of Rob of Someren in the programme Somertijd. He is also seen with DJ Sven in discotheques as a mix mix-dj during the disco Inferno Tour.
