Frank Cooper (judge)

Frank Cooper (b. October 1, 1869, in Glenville, NY, d. July 16, 1946) was a federal judge for the U.S. District Court, Northern District of New York. Judge Cooper graduated from Union University with an A.B. in 1893, read law, and graduated from Union University with an A.M. in 1896. He was nominated to the court by President Woodrow Wilson on April 29, 1920, to a new seat created by 40 Stat. 1156, confirmed by the Senate on June 3, 1920, and received his commission on June 3, 1920. He assumed senior status on September 30, 1941 and his service terminated on July 16, 1946, due to death.
