Ronnie Antoine Nader Bello, was born in Guayaquil on July 10, 1967. He is of Lebanese background. He is the first Ecuadorian astronaut with the title of "Advanced Suborbital Astronaut" and holds the chair of "Space Operations Director" at EXA the Ecuadorian space agency [http://www.exa.ec/whois.htm EXA: First Ecuadorian astronaut BIO] ] and has the rank of "Aerospace Mission Commander" in the Ecuadorian Micro Gravity Flight Program - PEVM-G. Career

Two times winner of the national physics contest prize for 1983 and 1984, first in his class on bachelor degree on 1986, graduated MS in computer science in 1994, Unversidad Catolica de Guayaquil, specialized in cybernetics Cite web|url=http://www.exa.ec/indnews/06-09-07-el-universo-03.jpg] , pioneered scientific research in artificial intelligence in Ecuador since 1989 and designer of the first fiber optics WAN networks on the country in 1992, built the first internet based e-commerce platforms on 1996. Astronaut Career

On June 8 2007, Nader completed the advanced suborbital flight training program at Russia's Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center [http://www.mid.ru/ns_publ.nsf/ca618d5746fee68cc32571f4002a5d7c/4ac98c9a8bbf9a17c325730500297e20?OpenDocument Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs] ] , becoming the first Ecuadorian to be trained as an astronaut. Although he was trained in an special cosmonaut regime, the Ecuadorian Space Agency "EXA" and the Ecuadorian Air Force "FAE" terms him ASA/T astronaut. Ronnie Nader has paternal Arab-Lebanese racial origin. He enjoys the practice of land sailing and martial arts also enjoys classical and 80's music, he's married and has 3 kids
