Toni Neal (born Tanisha Yarndriciaes Dolores Neal on
February 17 ,1976 ) is anEmmy Award -winning broadcaster.She got her start as an intern at
WJLB -FM in Detroit in 1992 while attendingCass Technical High School . Born in the inner city ofDetroit she was place into foster care and remained there for 14 years; until she went to Alabama to attendOakwood College . During her education she hosted shows atWOCG -FM,WJAB -FM as well asWEUP-FM while working at WAFF-NBC in 1996-2000. She would later getovarian cancer , thus stunting her career.After her recovery she moved to Atlanta to work as a producer for WGCL-CBS in 2001. At WGCL she worked with former
CBS network anchorJane Robelot and formerCNN anchorAndrea Arceneaux . In 2003 she moved toMetro Traffic Networks where she became a trafficanchor for WSB-ABC,Sirius Radio,WVEE ("V-103FM"), andWAOK -AM.She would later decide to leave the Television and Radio industry to raise her 5 year old daughter. She now works as a BCC for
Microsoft and continues to be an advocate for theFoster Care Industry.References
