Alvescot railway station was a railway station serving the village of Alvescot in Oxfordshire, England. It was located on the East Gloucestershire Railway which ran from Oxford to Fairford.

History

Opened by the East Gloucestershire Railway, and run from the outset by the Great Western Railway, the station then passed on to the Western Region of British Railways on nationalisation in 1948. It was then closed by the British Railways Board.

The site today

The coal yard open when the railway was running still functions, but the rest of the site is a small light industrial area and all the buildings have gone.
