- Francesco Carofiglio
Francesco Carofiglio (born in
Bari , July 4th, 1964) is a well-roundedartist ,architect ,illustrator ,graphic designer ,photographer , as well as actor, film and theater director, screen-writer and novelist. He studied architecture atUniversita' di Firenze and acting with Ugo Chiti. He appears in the film "Gli angeli del potere" (1989) [cfr. "Dizionario del cinema italiano", Roberto Chiti, Gremese ed.] directed by Giorgio Albertazzi with whom he also toured for some years.As director of short films, among which "Killer", "Pesto", "Assolo" -- he was awarded a number of prizes. He was the curator of the exhibit 'Bona Sforza: Duchessa di Polonia'. His renowned illustrations of PINOCCHIO were exhibited at the theater Casa di Pulcinella. in ?? his photos were shown at the ?? in Bari.
In Bari, he has been teaching theater workshops, lectures on art history, seminars on cinematography.
