Hall began her career singing with
Dandy Livingstone in the duo Dandy & Audrey.Larkin, Colin (1998) "The Virgin Encyclopedia of Reggae", Virgin Books, ISBN 0 7535 0242 9] They recorded the song "Morning Side of the Mountain" in 1969, the success of which led to an album of the same name. A second album followed on Trojan, "I Need You".
