Kezheng wen

Ke-Zheng Wen (zh-tshtw|t=|s=|hp=|tp=Wen Ke-Zheng|w=Wen Ke-Zheng, 1929-2007) was born in Beijing and is a famous Chinese bass singer. He is also a former director of Vocality department of Shanghai conservatory. He graduated from Najing conservatory in 1950 and is the committeeman of the Fourth Music Association of China. He won the silver medal in the sixth World Youth Festival in 1957.

Biography

He was born in an intellectual family in Beijing. His father was fond of music as a result of stimulating his music potential.He won a gifted child music prize established by Beijing when he was just ten years old by a performance in a singing test with singing an old Italian old song as an boy-soprano.In 1940s’ he passed in the Nanjing National Conservatory with the number 1 score.

From 1946-1956, he studied from world famous Russian vocality professor Mr.V.Shushlin. After graduation.he successively worked in Music department of Nanjing Jing Ling University where he met his wife Qiu wang.and as director of vocality department of shanghai conservatory.The fourth committeeman of music association of china.and the committeeman of Political consultative conference of Shanghai.Professor Wen staged the first vocal solo concert successively in Beijing , Tianjing and Nanjing with piano Professor jialu li in 1951. In 1956 Professor Wen was regarded as the famous music celebrity by participating the first national music week festival as a delegation of shanghai.And he won the gold medal of the first national singing test hosted by the national culture department of China at the same year. Subsequently,The national recording press of Soviet Russia published his vocal solo album while he won the silver medal of the international western classical singing test hosted by Moscow in 1957.After that ,He frequently open the solo concerts and vocality lessons across the world with his wife Qiu Wang(also his piano company)And was the first Chinese singer who staged a concert in U.S.In 1986.He was invited to give a solo vocal concert in the domestic palace of Japan by the prince of Japan. And was invited to sung the bass solo part of Simphony 9 of Beethoven by symphony orchestra of Osaka the next year.Both were highly reported in music community of Japan.

He was on invitation of Plitical consutative conference of Hongkong to perform a solo vocal concert in 1989.Subsequently, he gave a performance of a vocal serials “Life”staged in macao next year.Both led him to a good reputation.From 1984to 1992 , He gave two solo concerts to Cornell University of US etc.He has countless solo concerts.
