Ari Michael Steinbeck

Ari Michael Steinbeck is an American hedge fund manager based in Florida.

Early career

Steinbeck began as a screenwriter with his childhood friend Jeff Gutheim. They were hired to write "Crash Test Dummy" for New Line Cinema. [ [http://movies.nytimes.com/person/531178/Ari-Steinbeck/filmography The New York Times] ] Soon after, they sold "Day Traitor" (2000) to Warner Bros., which was renamed "Cash Money"; and "Crackerjack" (2001) to Intermedia Films. During this period, Steinbeck supplemented his income by day trading and split with Gutheim after being hired by Equity Asset Management to trade on their behalf through Spear, Leeds & Kellogg.

Continuing career

In 2006 Steinbeck founded The Red Pony Fund, a private mutual fund licensed and regulated by the [http://www.bvifsc.vg/ British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission] .
