United Kingdom Carrom Federation
- United Kingdom Carrom Federation
"UK Carrom Association (UKCA)" is to encourage and spread the game of carrom throughout the UK. It was formed in 1986 as the UK Carrom Club (UKCC) and was run by Ram Chatlani and Paula Davies. In 1999 Ram and Paula requested a break from running the club and asked for volunteers to take over.
In 2000 a committee of six was formed to apportion the workload and take the club forward. It was also decided to change the name from UKCC to UKCA as it was more appropriate as an association of smaller carrom clubs rather than as one big club with branches throughout the UK.
