- Spatz Kabinenroller
The Spatz Kabinenroller was a
microcar mechanically similar to theMesserschmitt KR200 but with two, nominally three, seats beside each-other, rather than one behind the other and with four wheels. The fiberglass bodywork resembled a sports car, but 10 horsepower (7 kW) did qualify it as such, no matter how light it was. The cloth top was erected from inside the car. Reverse was, like for the KR200, by running the engine backward (or by picking it up). Highway performance must not have been as good as that of the Messerschmitt. The engine size was increased from 200 to 250 cc.They were known for burning up. 1,588 were built, between 1956 and 1958.Manufacturer
