Kestrin pantera

Kestrin Pantera is an actress and cellist. She is known for her work in the film "Expired" with academy award winner Samantha Morton, Illeana Douglas, & Teri Garr, and the award-winning film "Stars and Suns", with Najarra Townsend ("Me, You, & Everyone We Know"). Pantera and her music are featured in several episodes of "Alter Eco", with Adrian Grenier (star of HBO's "Entourage") and supermodel Angela Lindvall.

Other works include: "Shugar Shank", with Kyle XY's Matt Dallas, "Surviving Eden", with Jane Lynch, and "Intellectual Property", with Chris Masterson.

Her introduction to the entertainment industry was as a dancer in the Beck video for "Black Tambourine". She was subsequently invited to play cello and sing with Beck, and performed live as a dancer with him in Los Angeles (2005).

Pantera established herself as a cellist and vocalist playing regularly in the Los Angeles scene, and has since toured across America and Canada with such acts as Cary Brothers, Brandi Carlile, and The Fray. She has performed at Coachella with Adam Freeland and in Los Angeles, with Weezer. Pantera has worked with music producers Jimmy Tamborello (The Postal Service), Grammy Award Winner Greg Collins (U2), Jim Wertz (Fiona Apple), and Dave Trumfio (Wilco) and been billed with iconic acts Jackson Browne, Colin Hay (Men At Work), and Rob Dickinson (The Catherine Wheel).

In 2008 she was featured on the cover of the Los Angeles Times.

She is currently a member of the band "his Orchestra", with actors Douglas Smith (of HBO's hit show, "Big Love") and Raviv Ullman (Phil of the Future", "Rita Rocks"). Her vocals are featured in his Orchestra's theme song for ABC's new show, "Roommates".

Philanthropy:Pantera executive produced a fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Fund with actresses Sarah Carter and Jaime Pressley in 2008, raising over $30,000 for the organization.
