Johnny Cubert White, Jr. (born September 20, 1966) is an American filmmaker and actor.

Personal Life

Johnny Cubert White, Jr. was born to teenaged runaways in Hammond, Indiana, USA. White was then raised in Tarpon Springs, Florida. White graduated from Ogelthorpe University in 1988, with a masters in Philosophy. In 1989, his post-Baccalaureate studies were in Filmmaking, at the University of South Florida. In 1992 White received his Masters degree in Filmmaking at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. White was the Executive Director/ Programmer of the Onion City Film Festival, Chicago 1993-1999. He was on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Filmmakers 1994-1998. He was the Segment Producer of the Chicago Film Critics Awards 1995-1997. He was in the Artist-In-Residence Program, State of Illinois, 1996-2000. Since 2000 Johnny White has been living in Los Angeles.
