FTSEurofirst 300 Index

Part of the FTSEurofirst Index Series and the FTSEurofirst 300 Indices, these are tradable indices measuring the performance of European portfolios.

It is a capitalization-weighted price index which uses free-float. It measures the performance of Europe's largest 300 companies by market capitalization. It closely tracks the benchmark index, FT/S&P-AWI Europe and covers 70% of Europe's market cap. The base date is December 31, 1985.
