Platypus Media is a small American publishing company that was founded in 2000 by science writer Dia L. Michels. Platypus Media is best-known for its children’s book, (2005), and released a Hebrew version of this book in the United States in 2007. In 2001, shortly after starting Platypus Media, president and founder Dia L. Michels founded Science, Naturally!, a publishing company that promotes science literacy through books that appeal to both parents and children.
