Mustafa Khan Sherpao

Mustafa Khan Sherpao (born May 21, 1985) is the youngest son of veteran Pakistani politician Aftab Ahmad Sherpao and nephew of assassinated leader Hayat Sherpao. He was severely injured in a suicide bomb attack while praying in his family mosque with his father and elder brother Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao on December 21, 2007. The attack that killed at least 57 and injured over a 100 people took place in Mustafa's ancestral village Sherpao located in the Northwest Frontier Province. The incident is widely accepted as an assassination attempt on the life of Aftab Ahmad Sherpao. Mustafa has since recovered from his injuries. Recent speculation has brought people in Pakistan to believe that foreign intelligence agencies were behind the attack.

Mustafa is a barrister at law from the Honourable Society of Gray's Inn.
