Trevor Gleeson was born in
Melbourne, Victoria ,Australia . He began his career with the Warrnambool Seahawks in the Victorian Basketball League in1992 . The following year he earned himself Head Coach in the Victorian Basketball League All-Star Team. His next job wasn’t until1997 where he was assistant coach & development at theBrisbane Bullets . He remained at the club until the end of2000 . His success with the Bullets as head coach got him over to America where he was again assistant coach forQuad City Thunder in theContinental Basketball Association . He spent a year there before joiningSioux Falls Skyforce in the CBA where he also spent a year there as well. Gleeson then got a job as ascout at thePortland Trail Blazers in the 2003-2004 NBA Season. He then got his first job as a head coach in professional basketball when he went back toSioux Falls Skyforce .Senior coaching career

Trevor Gleeson took over as coach midway through the 2002-2003 season after coach
Stacey King had a poor winning record. Gleeson tried to bring the Skyforce into the finals but was unsuccessful with a record of 7-8 when he took over. Gleeson did get to have another crack but was again unsuccessful as they finished 5th place although it was better than their previous season. Gleeson was then replaced by ‘the next big thing’ inDave Joerger .Jeonju KCC Egis 2005
Trevor Gleeson’s next job was at the
Seoul Samsung Thunder in the Korean Basketball League as a consultant for one year before heading to theJeonju KCC Egis for the 2005 season. In his debut season with KCC Egis, his record was 32-29 which was past the 500. mark.Townsville Crocodiles 2006 -
Gleeson was then signed to the
Townsville Crocodiles for the 2006-2007 season. This saw Gleeson return to Australia after spending six years in Korea and America. Despite being outsiders to make the playoffs, the crocs finished fifth. The crocs won there first game of the playoffs but lost their second game of the playoff. The following season saw Gleeson’s team struggle in the first quarter of the season but soon became a tough team to beat in the competition. But on the 22nd ofDecember 2007 a match between the crocs andWollongong Hawks saw Gleeson get ejected out of the game after receiving back-to-backtechnical fouls midway through the third quarter after a dispute with refereeCampbell Craddock over a bad call. Although Gleeson was sent from the field, the crocs went on to win the game. The following week saw Gleeson receive a fine for $1500 by the NBL Judiciary for misconduct and a one-match ban suspended for 12 months on good behaviour. Gleeson once again took the crocs to the playoffs again but ended up the same result.Achievements
He was the head coach in the 1993 Victorian Basketball League All-Star team.
