Wirehead is the title of a full motion video game released for the Sega CD in 1995, making it one of the last games released for the system. It was developed by The Code Monkeys, and was given a "Teen" rating by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board. An updated version of the game was planned for the Sega 32X, but was cancelled. Storyline

Ned Hubbard (Steve Witting) is a mild mannered family man, who just happens to have a wireless device (hence the title of the game) implanted into his brain. In giving the game a 60/100 score, Defunct Games noted that its, "impossible to neglect the extremely grainy video; the far too quiet sound, the sometimes unresponsive controls, and, again, the memorization factor.
