Solid-state impact-ionization multiplier
- Solid-state impact-ionization multiplier
Solid-State Impact-Ionization Multipliers, or SIM, is a amplifier which amplify small input current signal into large current signal. The application includes Optical Receiver/Detector, Photomultiplier, and Image Sensing.
The Advantage of the SIM is that it is a much smaller device and can be integrated with external source.Currently the SIM is in the development stage.
