- Kamyar Abdi
Kamyar Abdi is an Iranian archaeologist.
He received his M.A. in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations, at
University of Chicago (1997) and his Ph.D. fromUniversity of Michigan inAnthropology (2002). He has been anAssistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology,Dartmouth College since 2002. His research interest includessedentism , food production (agriculture and pastoralism),urbanism ,state formation , and writing in ancientNear East , especiallyIran .He is currently the editor of the
