Benny Zientara

Benedict Joesph (Benny) Zientara was a Major League Baseball player. He was 5 foot 9 and 165 pounds. He played second base and had his Major League debut on September 11, 1941. In 4 seasons over 8 years with the Cincinnati Reds, Zientara played 278 games with 230 hits in 906 at bats. He batted a career .254 with 2 home runs, 49 RBI and 106 runs. Zientara was born in 1918 in Chicago, Illinois and died in 1985 in Lake Elsinore, California.
