Shabba Doo

Shabba Doo (born Adolfo Quiñones (May 11, 1955) in Chicago, Illinois, United States) is an American actor, dancer, choreographer, and director. He has appeared in film and television.

The son of a Puerto Rican father and an Ethiopian mother, he became one of the founders of hip hop dancing as a member of "The Original Lockers" with Don "Campbellock" Campbell and Fred "Rerun" Berry and is one of the pioneers the dance style commonly known as "locking."

Quiñones' most well known role was the role of "Ozone" in the 1982 hit cult film, "Breakin'" and its sequel, "". He appeared in the film "Rave - Dancing to a Different Beat", for which he also directed.

Adolfo has made guest appearances on TV shows, including "The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!", "Married... with Children", "Miami Vice", "What's Happening!!" and "Saturday Night Live". In his private life, he was briefly married to actress Lela Rochon from 1984 to 1987.

Besides his work in film and television he has served as a choreographer to many singers such as Lionel Richie, Madonna, and Luther Vandross to name a few. Presently he serves as choreographer for Jamie Kennedy's new MTV sitcom, "Blowin' Up". He is also well remembered for his choreography of Three Six Mafia's performance on the 78th Annual Academy Awards. The group won the Oscar for best original song for their song It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp.

He presently resides in California, where he is working on various film and television projects.
