Gawron-class frigates

The Gawron Class (Rook Class) is a class of multipurpose frigates ordered by Polish Navy. Gawron Class is a variant of MEKO A-100 project developed by Blohm und Voss Shipyard in Germany. Construction of first ship of the class started in 2001 and due to financial problems currently is on hold.

There are plans to build 7 Gawron Class frigates. First one to be built is ORP Ślązak (Silesian).
