Reykjavik Excursions Kynnisferðir

Reykjavik Excursions Kynnisferðir is a company which operates mainly tour bus services. It also operates the 'Flybus' service which connects Reykjavík with the international airport, Keflavík.

Reykjavik Excursions Kynnisferðir began operating bus tours in 1968 and has since been the leading organizer of Day Tours in Iceland.

Reykjavik Excursions - Kynnisferðir has operated the Flybus transfer buses from Keflavík International Airport to the capital Reykjavík since 1979 with great success. The buses are outside the terminal building day and night, upon arrival of every flight.

In addition to the Day Tours, Reykjavik Excursions also offers tours into the highlands of Iceland: Landmannalaugar, Sprengisandur, Lakagígar and many more. In Thorsmork Nature Reserve, Reykjavik Excursions offers accommodation and cafeteria services.

In 2004 Reykjavik Excursions took over all operations at the main bus terminal in Reykjavík, the BSÍ bus terminal. At the same time the company moved most of its daily operations to BSÍ. Today, all our tours depart from BSÍ along with almost all scheduled busses from Reykjavík.

Reykjavik Excursions has grown over the years and currently operates one of the largest fleet of coaches in Iceland. Reykjavik Excursions employs 180 specialized individuals.
