Joy Saha (born September 7, 1991 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. is a bassist from Bangladesh.

Career

Joy is a bass player in Bangladesh. Joy has enjoyed Heavy metal music since his childhood. He learned to play acoustic guitar from his brother Shantanu at the age of 14. He formed a Progressive metal band with his friends named Destruction where he played guitar, although the band broke up after just two years. At the age of 16 he completed his S.S.C. examination from Government Laboratory High School Rajshahi and received a Golden A+, the topmost result in Bangladesh. As a result of his educational success, his parents agreed to buy a bass guitar for him. From this point on, Joy played bass guitar. He furthered his musical instruction of bass from Sagor of Black. Joy is currently thinking of joining another Death metal/ Black metal/ Melodic death metal/ Gothic metal band.

Musical Style

Joy can play both finger style and pick style bass. He is inspired by the musical style of Steve Harris of Iron Maiden.

Joy mainly cites Steve Harris, Cliff Burton, Alex Webster (Cannibal Corpse) as his main influence.
