Temsuyanger Longkumer born 21 April, 1976 in Nagaland,India is a major Avant-Garde Naga artist,who works and lives in London and creates works through drawing, printmaking,sculpture,installation and video.He holds a holds a Masters degree in Printmaking from the Royal College of Art. Recipient of the International Students House Scholarship, The UK Commonwealth Scholarship and INLAKS Scholarship, and winner of the Pizza Express Prospects Drawing Prize 2003.He is also an Associate Member to the Royal Society of Painter – Printmakers at the Bankside Gallery, London, and has been artist-in-residence at Cité International Des Arts, Paris and the Fondazione Pistoletto, Italy.Participant of various group shows in London, a list of Temsuyanger Longkumer's works includes:Intermingle, Etching; Creation of a race, Lithograph; Creation of a race, Etching; Trophies of the day, Etching;Cultural Intercourse, Immigration series.
