GSP TV is the Romanian television that broadcasts exclusevly the national football league games Liga I. It is owned by the Intact group, the second biggest Romanian media group. GSP TV is the abbreviated word for Gazeta Sporturilor, the best sport publication in Romania, which is also owned by the Intact group.

The Antena 1 - RCS&RDS joint-venture had to create another 3 TV channels as the only solution to show on TV all the games. The motive is that some football games were chossen by LPF to be played in the same time.

Trivia

The promotional video has the Realitatea TV (a rival TV channel) as TV sponsor. LPF chosse Realitatea TV as the TV partner through Antena 1 - RCS&RDS joint had bought the 2008-2009, 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 seasons of Liga I games,thus having the rights to show them on their channel,GSP TV, the new sports television. The promotion of a TV channel on another rival channel never happend before.
