Patrick Moya is a French artist, born in 1955 in Troyes, France and living in Nice, on the French Riviera. He is a part of the Nice contemporary art (Ecole de Nice) and work on the sublimation of his name, Moya, and his image (events, performances, videos, paintings, sculpture) for many exhibitions since the 1980's (Korea, Taiwan, London, Paris, Barcelona). His paintings can be found in some important private collections. Moya's art, based on the obsessive diffusion and transformation of his name and image can be related to an expression of contemporary self-portraits in a personal and conceptual way (works on the character of Pinocchio).
