Jenison High School offers a comprehensive curriculum of over 150 courses, has a high standard for graduation requirements, features an award winning music program, and provides full special education services throughout all grade levels. 13 different Advance Placement (AP) courses are offered. The school's ACT scores traditionally exceed the national averages.
Football
The Jenison football team competes in the OK Red and is coached by Irv Sigler. 2008 will be his first year coaching the program. Two former Jenison Wildcats have gone on to have professional careers in the National Football League. They are

The Jenison band program is nationally recognized specifically for its marching band. The marching band competes on a state level in the
Michigan Competing Bands Association (MCBA) circuit and nationally in theBands of America (BOA) circuit. Through the years the band has won numerous awards and honors. These include: BOA Grand Nationals Finalist (1992, 1994), BOA Best in Music Class AA (1999), BOA Toledo Regional Class AA Champions (2002, 2001, 2000, 1997), MCBA Flight II State Champions (2004, 2002, 2001), MCBA Flight I State Champions (1991).The current Director of Bands is Dave Zamborsky. The Assistant Director of Bands is Michael York, a Jenison High School alumni. The Director of Junior High Bands is Anne Gembis. Ted Bazany serves as the band's Director Emeritus. Prior to his retirement in 2000, Mr. Bazany served as either the Director or Assistant Director of Bands for over 20 years.
