The Mississippi Blues Marathon is an annual marathon foot-race run in Jackson, Mississippi, USA. The inaugural race was held January 5, 2008. The race originated in 1976 with the running of the Mississippi Marathon. In 2007, new corporate sponsorship was obtained and the event was moved to Jackson, MS with a total purse of $30,000.[1]
