Rucco Gandía

Rucco Gandía is a Puerto Rican musician and producer. He is a singer, bassist, composer and arranger.

Rucco studied both his bachelor's and master's degree in music at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Upon returning to Puerto Rico, he started playing traditional music and latin jazz along with prominent musicians. He also composed scores for movies and documentaries.

During the mid-1990s and in the midst of a boom in the Rock en Español movement in Puerto Rico, he assembled his own rock band called Radio Pirata. The band achieved success during these years, obtaining several awards for their songs and recordings.

Rucco is still active playing solo and producing music for other artists.
