Dynamic Design Solutions

Dynamic Design Solutions

Dynamic Design Solutions (DDS), with headquarters in Leuven, Belgium, is an independent and privately owned company developing CAE software tools for validating simulation models, optimizing engineering designs and integrating and automating simulation processes. DDS was founded in 1994 by Eddy Dascotte and Jacques Strobbe. Dynamic Design Solutions provides solutions that help FEA and test engineers to improve the fidelity of FE models, identify structural properties, assess uncertainty of variables and incorporate variability into models. These validated and updated models can then be used with more confidence to improve product performance under real world conditions. Applications in which model updating technology plays an important role include nondestructive material identification and Structural health monitoring (SHM) with damage identification.

Dynamic Design Solutions is the creator of the FEMtools suite of CAE software products.
