Scott Bolkan (born February 18, 1986 in Salem, Oregon) is an American soccer defender who currently plays for the Portland Timbers of the USL First Division on loan from the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer.

Bolkan graduated from South Salem High School in Salem, Oregon in 2004, where he was a McDonald’s High School All American soccer player. He then attended Stanford University, playing on the men’s soccer team from 2004 to 2007. In 2005, Bolkan played during the collegiate off-season with the Cascade Surge of the fourth division Premier Development League. On April 9, 2008, the Los Angeles Galaxy signed Bolkan to a developmental contract and sent him on loan to the Portland Timbers of the USL First Division.
