Khan inArabic comes from aPersian word meaning Hotel, or Restplace, whileSahara means Desert, located the outskirts ofGiza ,Egypt in the Abu Seir area, that is locked between theNile River and theSaqqara Pyramid.History
Officialy opened in the 1st of
September 2007 , as Sahara Khan in theAbu Seir area, the Facility started as aHorse Breeding Facility, which managed to evolved by the end of the year into a Cultural Center, with weekly school trips, and Tourists Trips. the SK expanded its Actiovities to inform the Public of the rich Arab Culture, and managed to Merge theBedouin andEgyptian Falah i Culture in one area.in July 2008, the Sahara Khan made a new Expantion for its activities, with Musical, and Cultural concerts, with coordination with several young local bands.
On the other Hand, the Sahara Khan Arabian Horses participates in Events like

Architechture of the has Sahara Khan managed to integrate the Bedouin and Rural Arab Architechture, withDomes ,Palm Tree 's andBedouin Tents surrounding the location, the Sahara Khan contains around 24 Stables for the Horses, painted with light orange, merging it with the surrounding Landscapes of the Deserts.The SK also has 2pasture s, which gives the Stud plenty of area to run freely in, one with Grass, and another with Sands, to get the Horses used to the Sands.In early july 2008, an enormouse Modern Airconditioned tent was built, inspired by the Traditional Bedouin Tent.Gallery
