- Bzhedug
In
Russia , the Bzhedug are one of the ten tribal divisions of theAdygi . In the 19th century they were considered to be a distinct ethnic group. Many of them emigrated to Turkey in the 1860s, but there was still a community of Bzedug on the left bank of theKuban River (in the vicinity ofKrasnodar ) in the 1980s.
