Arnór Smárason (born September 7, 1988) is an Icelandic footballer who plays as forward for Eredivisie team SC Heerenveen.

Club career

Smárason was born in Akranes, Iceland, and is a cousin of Pétur Pétursson. He came to Holland already at a young age, and played for the youth teams of SC Heerenveen. He made his senior debut in 2008.

International career

Smárason has been called up for the Iceland U21 national team, making four appearances and scoring one goal. He made his debut for the senior national squad in a friendly against Wales in May 2008.
