Bahamas–Russia relations

Bahamas–Russia relations refers to the bilateral relations between Russia and Bahamas. The two countries signed accords on diplomatic relations on January 14, 2004. Both countries are members of the United Nations, and are hoping to have a closer collaboration.

The relationships between the two countries

The Permanent Mission of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to the United Nations announced on January 14, 2004 that both countries signed diplomatic missions. Since both countries have signed a Joint Communiqué, Sergey Lavrov states that the Bahamas and Russia decided to sign diplomatic missions on the Ambassadorial level. The Communiqué bases on peace and international law. Since now, the Bahamas hopes to have a closer collabaration with Russia, and other countries of the United Nations.
