- Kawasaki kmx
The Kawasaki "KMX" is a popular water cooled 2 stroke trail bike. there are two versions, the KMX 125cc and the bigger brother 200cc edition.
The KMX 125 and 200 were the start of a new era in terms of trail bike terms, they both feature superb strong front and rear disc brakes, water cooled engines, mono link suspension (Kawasaki's UNI-TRACK system) and a power valve system (KIPS).
KMX 125"1988-2003 Models: A1-A5/B1-B12"
The 125cc version is greatly loved by a wider range of ages, easily the most popular as these can be rode in some countries with just a provision license as they come restricted to 12bhp (learner legal spec.
they are renouned for being quick bikes once derestricted and the power will be increased to over 20bhp at the rear wheel easily reaching 85mph with some modifications to the gearing ratio (sprockets). the power valve system used on the engine is arguably better than some rival bikes such as the YPVS used on Yamahas DTR trail 125cc bike.
