Sienna Cammeniti was a fictional character on the Australian soap opera "Neighbours", portrayed by Erin McNaught. She made her first appearance onscreen in episode 5445, which aired on May 2 2008. Sienna was introduced as the cousin of Carmella Cammeniti (portrayed by Natalie Blair).

Creation

The role of Sienna was created for Erin McNaught, along with the role of Nicola West being created for Imogen Bailey, mainly in an attempt to boost "Neighbours ratings". Despite McNaught's appearance on the show was very much sensationalised, her character has not a noteworthy impact on the show, with Sienna's presence being compared to an extra on the show. Character background

Sienna's homelife prior to entering Erinsborough had apparently been very tough on her, with that being the reason for her deciding to visit her cousin Carmella. Carmella and Sienna had failed to get along well as children, with the two of them fighting for their family's attention, and them constantly competing with each other. Sienna's personality has been described as fiery, passionate and well-intentioned. Arrival

Sienna made her first appearance at the General Store, looking for Carmella. She had then discovered that Carmella was away in Italy at the time, so she acquainted herself with Carmella's partner Marco Silvani and the General Store assistant Lou Carpenter.Lou gained an attraction to Sienna and he offered her a job at the Store after being impressed by her homemade muffins.Carmella later returned from Italy and was shocked to find Sienna at the Store. They didn't get along at first though they eventually got over their differences and gained a close relationship.When Carmella had a shopping addiction, Carmella stole money from the General Store. Sienna was wrongly accused and was fired. Then Carmella admitted to stealing the money. Sienna was rehired. Sienna helped in getting her cousin to admit having a problem. Sienna eventually moved into Number 24 with Carmella, Carmella's daughter Chloe and Marco. Declan Napier and Rebecca Napier have since joined them.

Bush Fire

In July 2008 Carmella threw a party in the forest for Marco. There Marco proposed to Carmella and she accepted. Jay Duncan who was Steph Scully's boyfriend burnt a bush and started a fire. Ned Parker, Kirsten Gannon and Marco went missing. Sienna was involved but not hurt. They found Marco badly injured and rushed him to hospital. In hospital Karl Kennedy told Marco that he wasn't going to survive through his injuries. Marco and Carmella then held a quick wedding ceremony by Marco's death bed having Sienna as bridesmaid. Marco died soon after.

Ty's Band

Ty enlists a whole lot of girls who can’t sing to audition for the female singer of the band. It’s all part of the grand plan, to make Rachel look like she is the only one for the job. Things are looking bright for Rachel when the girls one by one make fools of themselves, and Rachel gets up and rocks the auditions. Ty is certain his plan has worked, that is until Sienna unexpectedly turns up. According to band member Logan, she’s the whole package and he’s chosen her as the girl for the job! Sienna wasn't really that good at singing so Rachel helped teach her few things. The in late September the band had there first gig. But Sienna was amazingly nervous and she asked Rachel to help her. Then Logan decided to make a move on Sienna and tried to kiss her and it resolved into her quitting the band and Rachel becoming the Lead singer of "Nothing Doing".

Departure

Sienna left on the 3rd of October with Logan Ellis from the band to visit Frazer and Rosie in Italy.
