The carburetors

The Carburetors is a hard rock band from Oslo, Norway. The band was formed in 2001 and the music is based on boogie rock 'n' roll and metal. Their music has been said to be a mix of Chuck Berry and Motörheadand has created a new term of rock; "fast forward rock 'n' roll".The band released their first album "Pain is temporary, Glory is forever" in 2004 after several CD singles and 7" vinyls. By this time the band was runners up in World Chamionship of Rock in Bilbao, Spain in 2002 and had played with bands like the UK Subs and Gluecifer. The album led them to play with Mötley Crüe and Nigthwish in Oslo in 2005 and Deep Purple in 2006. Two video-tracks were produced from the album, and the one for “Burnout” was the second most aired video (all categories!) on Norwegian television in 2004.
Their second killer album “Loud Enough To Raise The Dead” was recorded during the summer of 2005, and a video was produced for the single track “Rock 'n' Roll Forever”, directed by Bjørn Opsahl - one of the hottest photographers/video directors in Norway who previously has produced videos for A-Ha and numerous big selling commercial artists in Norway. The album hit the charts in Norway like a bomb, received great reviews, and the band was on the cover of one of Scandinavias bestselling rock mags, “Scream Magazine”.
The music was introduced in Germany and in only two years the band had completed four tours in Germany and done shows in the Czeech Republic, Russia, Austria and played support for Judas Priest in Slovakia and Rose Tattoo in Norway.
