Rabbi Yaakov Eliezer Schwartzman is the Rosh Yeshiva of the Lakewood East yeshiva in Ramot, Jerusalem, Israel. He is the son of Rabbi Dov Schwartzman, the oldest grandson of Rabbi Aharon Kotler, the son-in-law of Rabbi Shlomo Wolbe, and the great-grandson of Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer. His brother is Rabbi Zevulun Schwartzman, head of the kollel in the Etz Chaim Yeshiva.
