The Mall at Barnes Crossing is a regional shopping mall located northeast of downtown Tupelo, Mississippi. It is managed and patrtially owned by David Hocker & Associates and is home to over 97 specialty shops, 5 anchor store tenants, an 8-screen Cinemark movie theater, and a 600-seat food court. The mall attracts customers from both Northeast Mississippi and Northwest Alabama. The mall is home to shops and restaurants like Abercrombie & Fitch, Sweet Peppers Deli, Ann Taylor LOFT, and Ruby Tuesday. David Hocker & Associates also manages an outdoor strip shopping center called Market Center to the east of the mall, between two major entrances. The center consists of anchors Old Navy, Shoe Carnival, and Circuit City. Another outdoor strip shopping center called Barnes Crossing Plaza lies north of the mall, including anchors Toys "R" Us, OfficeMax, TJMaxx, and Hobby Lobby.

Current expansion

In late 2007, a period of expansion began taking place in the north (Sears) wing of the mall, beginning with the construction of Dick's Sporting Goods in the vacant Parisian tenant, and Barnes & Noble, an all-new anchor tenant that has replaced the former tenants of Hibbett Sports and Body Central (Both moved to current locations). Dick's opened in late spring 2008, and Barnes & Noble opened in early September 2008. Construction has also began for a Coldwater Creek location beside Barnes & Noble. The mall's manager, David Hocker & Associates also has plans for a Talbots and Chico's to open in 2008.
