Ngoli “Ngo” Onyeka Okafor(born 30 December) is a Nigerian American male model, actor and Two-time Golden Gloves boxer and actor.[1] He is of Igbo decent, with both of his parents being Igbo.[2] Ngo has been called one of the quickest studies the boxing world has ever seen. He started boxing at the late age of 31, an age that most boxers retire, and within 3 years, he won 2 heavyweight Golden Gloves boxing championships. Search engines proclaim Ngo to be the most downloaded black male model and actor on the internet and has worked the likes of supermodel Gisele Bundchen, Lil’ Kim and Mary J. Blige. He has been featured in Vogue, W, Vibe, Men’s Health and The Wall Street Journal Magazine. As an actor, he has worked on soap operas, TV shows and film including ‘The Rebound’ with Catherine Zeta-Jones. Throughout his career, Ngo has been dedicated to giving back, which can be most recently demonstrated by his determination to build boxing gyms and develop a strong amateur boxing program in his home country of Nigeria.
