Simon Ingersoll

Simon Ingersoll (March 3, 1818July 24, 1894) founded the Ingersoll Rock Drill Company in 1871.In 1905 Ingersoll-Sargeant Drill Company merged with the Rand Drill Company to form Ingersoll-Rand.
