Vishay Intertechnology is one of the world's largest manufacturers of semiconductors and electronic components. Vishay has several production centres in Israel, China and five other Asian countries, Europe and the Americas where it produces integrated circuits, transistors, diodes and other electronic components.

History

Vishay Intertechnology was founded in 1962 when Felix Zandman, decided to found a compnay that will manufacture Bulk Metal foil resistors. With a financial support of Alfred P. Slaner this became a reality.
