Existor gained notoriety in 2006 and 2007 from the band's uncanny ability to progressively blur the lines between electronic dance music and jazz fusion. By doing so, the trio is able to successfully pinpoint the perfect medium between multiple genres of thought-provoking instrumental music. Spiraling chord progressions, pummeling bass lines, and intense break-beats are the building blocks of the original compositions guaranteed to stimulate both the body and the mind.
New Year's Eve 2007-2008 was a crowning achievement for Existor as they performed to a full house at Element Lounge in downtown Richmond, VA. For their first ever New Year's Eve show, they were joined onstage by close friend Jonathan Meadows on guitar and vocals for a medley of Pink Floyd covers and a lengthy improvisational section.
The band is currently on a recording and touring hiatus while Hunter and Paul currently pursue international endeavors. A public update on the band's status was released in June 2008, notifying its fans that Existor plans on touring again in the summer of 2009, once both band members are back in the United States.
