Kishisaburo Nomuracite-Karnow|Kishisaburo Nomura] was the Japanese ambassador to the United States in 1941. He tried to negotiate with Cordell Hull, then U.S.Secretary of State under Franklin Delano Roosevelt, in order to avert war between Japan and the United States of America.
